The Legion is a democratic, non-partisan, member based organization. We donate to veterans, youth programs & sports,& charities in our community of Nanaimo Our branch in Nanaimo is a private club open to it's members and guests. We have a very welcoming approach as our membership has grown due to our motto of being an "extension of people's living room at home". We offer unmatched comradery with a
mix of young and elderly members, guests and our large veteran membership base. (You do NOT have to be a veteran to join, yearly dues are $60)
We have great bar prices, and a fantastic kitchen menu which was awarded 3rd best wings and 2nd best music trivia in Nanaimo for the Best of City 2024 by the Nanaimo News Bulletin. The kitchen is open when the lounge is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays and during special events. We feature darts, pool, crib, dances, gift card draws, and much more. We also have Bingo on Wednesdays (open to the public as the lounge is closed)

We endeavour to make a difference in the lives of Veterans, including military and RCMP members and their families; to support our communities and our country, and to always remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We donate to veterans and youth programs and sports in Nanaimo from proceeds of our operations and fundraising. In the event that the Lounge is not busy the President may close at an earlier time than posted for that day
