Small in scale, considered in every detail.

Inspired by Japanese onsens and our clients' travels, this powder room was designed to make the most of a compact footprint. Custom millwork wall panelling extends from the entry, creating continuity, while a concrete-inspired sink and Cygnus granite countertop bring texture and warmth to the space.

Proof that thoughtful design doesn't require a lot of square footage.

Spanish Revival Residence // Kitchen

What was once an awkward corner beside the wood-burning fireplace is now one of the most enjoyed spaces in the home.

Overlooking the garden, the existing bay window lacked a clear purpose within the kitchen. A custom-built banquette transformed the area into a comfortable place to gather, maximizing every inch while adding warmth, texture, and function.

A thoughtful addition with a meaningful impact... turning an overlooked corner into a destination within the home.

Designed with restraint and continuity in mind.

Working within the home’s existing architecture, the wood-burning fireplace, original tile floors, and warm wood trim, windows, and doors throughout. The intention was to create a kitchen that felt seamlessly integrated with the home rather than feeling like a later addition.

A minimal-impact renovation with a significant shift in atmosphere, function, and flow... designed to feel timeless, layered, and entirely at home within the original character of the space.

Built around material contrast and quiet balance.

Custom-stained dark oak cabinetry, lake-inspired blue zellige tile, and a restrained neutral palette that allows the space to feel grounded rather than heavy.

While there’s depth in the materials, the overall effect is calm and timeless... designed to feel lived in, not loud.

Built around quiet rituals.

Coffee at the window perch overlooking expansive views of Kootenay Lake - we intentionally kept the millwork light and understated so the landscape can take the lead, almost like the view becomes the artwork.

The warmth of the Stûv fireplace and Japandi-inspired joinery sit quietly in the space, creating a kitchen that feels calm, grounded, and easy to spend time in.

A place for slow, everyday moments.

Good design is found in the details, and in the quiet way they speak to one another...

The meeting of a baseboard and a door casing. A metal finish that weaves its way from one room to the next. Interior finishes chosen not in isolation, but in conversation with the view outside... These moments rarely demand attention - yet together, they're what gives a space its sense of cohesion and intention.

Repetition in design isn't about being repetitive. It's about building a visual language that quietly ties everything together.
