She'd had her living room arranged the same way for 40 years.
When I walked in, I moved four pieces of furniture she already owned, took out the big square coffee table, the chunky pillar lamps, and brought in smaller, more delicate pieces from another part of the room. Nothing new. Just a different eye on what was already there.
She stood in the doorway, went quiet, took a breath, smiled, and looked at me.
Then she said, "it just feels more like me."
She'd been living with heavy, chunky furniture that suited the person she used to be, or maybe the person everyone expected her to be. The room had stayed the same while she'd quietly changed around it.
That's what a Room Reset does. It's not about buying new things. It's about clearing out what doesn't belong to you anymore and making space for what actually does.
If your room has been the same for longer than you can remember, and something about it feels off but you can't quite name what, comment MORE LIKE ME below and I'll send you the details on how we can do this together.

She didn't buy a single thing.
We spent two hours moving furniture, pulling out pieces that had been hiding, hanging art that was sitting against the wall, and letting the room finally breathe the way it wanted to.
This is what I do. I come to your space, I look at what you already have, and we figure out together what it's trying to be. With Feng Shui principles and energetic flow as my guide, the rooms I work in feel different when we're done, not just tidier, not just prettier, but more like you.
2-hour Room Reset , $300
Your stuff. Your space. Just finally arranged the way it wants to be.

Unpopular opinion: most people don't need a full redesign.
They need to stop living in a space that reflects who they used to be.
I walk into homes all the time where the furniture isn't actually the problem. The room is still holding:
- the old marriage
- the career you stayed in too long
- the version of yourself that performed for everyone else and called it keeping the peace
Then people wonder why they feel stuck, uninspired, exhausted, or invisible in their own life.
Sometimes the most transformational thing isn't buying new furniture. It's removing the chair nobody likes but everyone keeps, moving the desk out of the corner you shoved it into during survival mode, clearing the "someday" piles that are really just grief in a different shape, or finally admitting you've outgrown the identity your home was built around.
A home should support who you are becoming, not archive who you had to be.
This is why I blend Feng Shui, intuitive styling, and Human Design into my work. Because beautiful spaces are energetic spaces first.
If your home still feels like someone else's life, I'd love to talk.

It started with a little pink door, literally, I painted it Benjamin Moore peach pink, and for three years that door was one of the most alive things I'd ever been part of.
Back in 2014 I rented a tiny space, filled it with artists and vintage pieces and the kind of energy that makes you slow down and look twice. I called it The Pink Door in the Lane. It didn't end the way I imagined, but things with me rarely do, and I've made peace with that. The shop closed, life moved on, and a collection of beautiful pieces went into storage in 2019, unseen and waiting. The door is still there, by the way. It's a barbershop now.
This week I felt something shift before I even looked at a calendar, which turned out to be exactly right because we're in Last Quarter Moon energy, the part of the cycle that's about releasing the old story so the new one has room to breathe.
So I took my first load of vintage into a new space at Powell St. Studios, and I genuinely haven't laid eyes on most of these pieces since 2019. I don't know what I'm going to find when I open those boxes, and honestly that feels exactly right. Nothing ever quite turns out how I think it will, but it always turns out to be something worth showing up for.
'Flora and Found' is my new chapter, and I'm here for all of it.
If you want to know when the first pieces are available, comment VINTAGE below and I'll DM you directly. 🌿

I almost never post photos of my own home or my clients' spaces, and I want to tell you exactly why.

It's not because the work isn't beautiful. It's because a beautiful room and a beautiful photo of a room are two completely different things, and I have never been willing to let a mediocre iPhone shot misrepresent either. Real spaces smell like fresh flowers and whatever you cooked last Sunday. They have the worn spot on the armchair where you always sit and seven different light sources and a window that catches the afternoon in a way no camera has fully figured out how to translate. That feeling is the whole point, and it's the first thing that disappears the moment you point a phone at it.

So I wait until I can hire a photographer who knows how to make light behave. Which means most of my work never makes it here.

But this felt worth an exception.

When I moved in, the only thing in this house was an orangey-red stained wood TV stand built into the living room wall.
I decide it could be a dining room and I just started bringing in the pieces I loved, the crystal that had been sitting in boxes, the candlesticks I'd been collecting for years, the art that had followed me from house to house, and let them tell me where they wanted to live. Eventually, a few coats of paint and one paint expert later, that TV stand became the dining hutch I'd always seen hiding inside it, and this room became the one I want to sit in every single morning.

The bedroom was painted purple many years before I moved in, so I balance it out with lots of cream and gold. Using what I had and some marketplace pieces.

This is what energetic styling actually looks like. Not a renovation budget or starting over from scratch, but seeing what's already there differently and trusting your instincts enough to do something about it.

Does your space have something like this? A piece you've been working around instead of working with? Tell me about it in the comments. 👇

👒 Hello from camping on the beach 🌊

I’ve been journaling and setting intentions for the last quarter of 2025, this nine year of completion. And tomorrow is the 9/9/9 portal… a powerful time to release what no longer serves and call in the future we’ve been longing for. ✨

Our homes are often the most tangible reflection of this. They quietly hold our past stories, sometimes even keeping us stuck in old patterns. But when we shift the energy, let go of what’s heavy, and create a space that inspires us, we open the door to new possibilities. 🌿

That’s why I’m offering Fall Makeover Sessions in Nelson + Vancouver. Together we’ll:
✨ Release what belongs to the past
✨ Repurpose what still holds beauty and meaning
✨ Curate and style your home so it feels aligned with your vision
✨ Create a sanctuary that supports your next chapter of life

📩 DM me to book your session this fall.

The 999 portal is a reminder: endings are simply beginnings in disguise. Your home, and your life, can reflect the future you’re ready to step into. 🌸
