In homes all over the province (and the country), students are getting ready for dorm life. Some travel from afar to attend Acadia University or other NS schools and colleges.
We have things your student may need, especially for dorm single beds which can be longer than a single bed at home (80" instead of 76"). Extra long mattress pads and fitted sheets (flat and cases sold separately). Machine-washable down blankets, and totes for trips to the dorm bathroom.
Lots of pillows too!

It's been a fun week of unpacking sunflowers and squirrels, pumpkins and platters, mugs and candles, planters and spatulas, cushions and dish sponges! It's a crazy mix but then, so are we! It works and it's Absolutely Fabulous.

You know, sometimes you just need to take some time and sit with the butterflies. It's a very Zen feeling time, with the gentle, silent flutter of so many beautiful butterflies in a garden-like enclosure. Calming. Relaxing. Fascinating!
Meanwhile, back at the store, Betty Jean, Joy, Margrete and Jennifer have everything running smoothly (different kind of Zen!) And I appreciate it. Open as usual 10-5 Monday to Saturday.

It's that time of year when Back to School ads are everywhere, and kids are either excited or protesting that summer isn't over yet.
Our lunch containers are in stock, everything from salads, snacks, soups, sandwiches and condiments. We have stainless steel containers too. And a great Snackle cookbook with ideas for lunches that can be eaten quickly so there's more time on the playground.
Containers aren't just for kids! Adults like these too.
