This Abbotsford home underwent a significant renovation, including replacing the existing roller shades to better manage the increased natural light.

Our clients wanted a modern, motorized solution. But there was one challenge: no wiring had been installed to power motorized shades.

Rather than compromise on the original vision, our team recommended Lutron Electronics Triathlon Rollershades.

Powered by batteries and communicating wirelessly with Lutron controls, Triathlon shades can be introduced at virtually any stage of a renovation without requiring new low-voltage wiring to each shade.

We completed a site walkthrough ahead of this beautiful Oceanview property renovation starting soon, with our conversation surrounding how to control the light and reduce glare coming through these ocean-facing windows.

After some discussion with the interior designers, and speaking with the project manager, it was evident that running power to these areas was going to be more hassle than desired, especially with Lutron Electronics Palladiom wire-free roller shades as an option.

The addition of these roller shades will add some much-appreciated glare reduction and light control to the home, while also adding the style and elegance that only Palladiom rollers can bring.

We’re looking forward to seeing this one come to life!

Some of our favourite bathroom installations.

Bathrooms are often one of the most overlooked spaces when selecting window coverings, yet they demand a careful balance of privacy without sacrificing natural light.

For these homes, we recommended light-filtering sunscreen roller shades and Roman shades to create bright, welcoming spaces while maintaining privacy throughout the day.

These selected fabrics featured a low openness factor, softening daylight as it enters the room while obscuring direct sightlines from outside. Choosing lighter-coloured fabrics further enhances the effect by reflecting and transmitting more natural light, helping each bathroom feel open, warm, and inviting.

It's a reminder that the best window covering solutions don't just complete a room, they enhance how it's experienced every day.

Early collaboration makes all the difference.

By joining this Vancouver renovation in its early stages, we worked alongside the builders at Shed Custom Homes to incorporate recessed shade pockets and complete the wiring before the walls were finished.

That planning allowed the Lutron Electronics Triathlon Roller Shades to become a natural extension of the home's design, delivering clean sightlines, reliable performance, and a finish that feels intentionally built into the architecture.

Project update for a beautiful Whistler home.

Our technicians ceiling mounted a motorized curved drapery track from Silent Gliss International Ltd into the Guest Bedroom.

Curved drapery tracks can be difficult to execute because of the exact fit required, the material bending limitations and the challenge of calibrating motorization.

However, when installed precisely, curved tracks create an elevated luxurious feel. They also decrease the chance of light gaps where the track would normally split, gifting the clients more privacy.

The gorgeous view of British Columbia’s mountains and rugged forest will be framed by tall, ripplefold room darkening drapery creating excitement for Guests that want to revel in the daily ritual of opening their drapes.

Light control is a universal priority for our clients, and drapery remains one of the most effective solutions.

Set within Whistler’s rugged forest, this home is naturally shielded by its surroundings, but even the landscape can’t fully prevent light from filtering into the bedrooms or limit sightlines after dark.

For these spaces, our clients needed a solution that offered flexibility, privacy, and greater light control for a more restful sleep.

Bedrooms feature curved tracks and two one-way draw draperies: a sheer layer for softened daylight and a room-darkening layer for deeper privacy and reduced light transmittance.

Fully motorized and operated from a bedside remote, the system allows effortless control of light and privacy at any time.
