I’m celebrating 18 years in business today! It’s hard to believe it’s been that long since I started my company at the ripe age of 24. It was 2008 and I had just lost my job alongside every other designer I knew, so I jumped right in and started Twenty One Two Design Inc (don’t ask 😅) and took on small jobs for family friends. Fast forward to 2014 when I became a mom and things got a lot more serious. I made my first hire and slowly grew from there. In 2017, right before I welcomed our daughter, our son, Theo, was diagnosed with cancer. I held on to my business by a thread with the help of my two incredible team members at the time who took over when I couldn’t be there. Since then, I’ve had my fair share of up and downs in business but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I recognize how lucky I am to wake up everyday and do a job that I absolutely love alongside a team that makes it even better than I could ever imagine. Thank you to Georgia and Bridget, for showing up to work with that same passion for design and this business. Thank you to our clients who trust us with their most personal and prized possession- their home. Cheers to 18 years and looking forward to the next 18+!!
