Hey! It’s me…Renée. I thought I’d take this opportunity for a brief introduction again as it’s been awhile.
So a little bit about myself, I enjoy long walks in the park..cough cough… ok fine I’ll be serious now.
Pink Birch came into fruition while sitting around a campfire on one of the coldest winter nights in January 2021. I wanted to incorporate everything that is good about adventure, camping and the outdoors into a small box that can be gifted to those nature and outdoors lovers (including gifts to ourselves :)
A few fun facts:
❄️ I LOVE being outdoors spending the day in nature while hiking or enjoying winter activities and could also sit by a firepit all day and night in the cold 🥶. But when I’m at home, and I have to..say…walk the dog 🐕 ..I hate winter and will sheepishly convince someone else at home to do it 😂 Brrrr
❄️ Some of you already know this buuuuut… I don’t like chocolate (there I said it). Next.
❄️ You’ll see my beautiful dog Kali in some posts. She is a 3yr old Goldador. She is crazy for snow….like seriously nuts..you’ll see. She goes for a ride with us on our snowmobile and actually hops up to sit on my lap lmao 🤣
❄️ Random facts: I spent some years growing up in the Yukon (…and no, not in an igloo); I haven’t really travelled much outside Canada (I know, I know)…hmm 🤔 or within Canada for that matter. Ok fine I’m exaggerating a LITTLE bit but it’s true :)
