Months in the making, and a great client to work with on this very special project! This might be my favourite custom project I have done to date.

This was such an interesting book to make. The pages are all envelopes and each one had a short little letter to a woman who turned 90 this past week. This hefty little tome of envelopes was filled to the brim with memories, photographs and love.

I feel so honoured to have been able to help create a keepsake item for the birthday girl! 🎂

I'm always amazed at the kinds of books people bring me! My client told me this book is the "bible of cricket books" so that's pretty neat!

This book came in rough shape. I was happy to do some spine treatment and recolour some of the cover that was flaking off.

It's always interesting to walk the line between repairing a book for more use, and conserving a book and its history. This definitely leans more toward repair for new use and that's what my client was looking for!

I have been stepping back from taking on new projects at this time. I am working on finishing what's on my bench and then I will be stepping back for a bit as I navigate some health things.

During my year of the de-stash, I have been working on using my patterned cardstock collection. These bundles are a great way to pick a few patterns and use them up.

These books are lightweight and easy to carry around. Use it for bible study or sermon notes, use it as your daily journal, or to keep track of crochet patterns or other hobbies. The possibilities are endless, and the patterns in my collection, also almost endless.

I have finished another bible repair! This one has been with my client for many years and I'm so privileged to help give it a makeover for the next many years!

This bible project is done!

With some minor repairs and a brand new cover, this project was by far the most intricate I have done thus far in terms of foiling.
