The basement is finished, amazing attention to detail by the contractor and home owners! The SACHI design gave them ample storage, cozy carpeting, an updated bath, an updated polished look and a bit of fun/something different (those doors!) as well as built in charging nooks, lighting, a headboard and storage in the guest room (the closets still need a package of curtains, 1 for each side) very sunny 🌞

Couldn’t wait until the final reveal day! This SACHI designed basement will be ready just in time for spring with those bright and warm yellow doors giving me a lift! New carpets, new painted trim everywhere, revamped bathroom, added closets for storage and a renewed space for family movie night as well as a guest bedroom. Fantastic contractor and homeowners!

A re-imagined kitchen in a split level in Hunt Club. A great young couple with small kids needed a kitchen makeover. A fantastic updated look and also a better layout. The best part was hearing how they now use their dining room for meals and use their living more as well because everything is open. The power of design to change behaviour and improve one’s life! Shifting space around in an old ottawa south basement remodel to get maximum storage and teen hang out space… more photos coming soon. I love the colour of the new doors, they will brighten and warm up the basement and match the doors in the rest of this almost 100 year old home
