Honoured to attend the opening of the new Hummingbird Room created for IRCC — a culturally responsive Sacred Room designed to support reflection, wellness, ceremony, and cultural safety within the workplace.
The opening included a smudging ceremony, creating a deeply meaningful experience for everyone involved.

This project was made possible through incredible collaboration with IRCC, Morguard, M&M Interior Construction, our Indigenous advisors, and the many contributors who helped bring this important space to life.

LWG is proud to have been part of a project that reflects the power of thoughtful, inclusive design.

LWG designed custom millwork for the National Press Gallery many years ago. We’ve seen more than a few Prime Ministers standing behind the podium or sitting behind the tables we designed. Kinda cool.

Big moment for one of our own ✨

Congratulations to our co-op student Stella Zhou on her graduation from the Algonquin College Bachelor of Interior Design program! 🎓

We loved seeing her Senior Project, Arbor: A Senior Community of Living, Learning, and Thriving, at tonight’s Grad Show—thoughtful, beautifully executed, and full of promise.

Even better? Stella officially joins LWG full-time on Monday—we couldn’t be more excited to have her on the team.

And to all graduates: this is a huge achievement. This program is no small feat, and your hard work shows. 👏
