Blanket number three. 🤍
There is something incredibly special about creating for someone who comes back again and again.
This beautiful bespoke blanket is heading home to a wonderful returning customer who has trusted me with another piece of their story. That trust is never lost on me.
The past couple of years have changed me in ways I never expected. Healing isn’t always linear, and sometimes it means working a little slower than I once did. Thank you to everyone who has shown me such incredible patience and kindness while I continue to recover.
Every order, every conversation at a market, every kind word, and every returning customer has become part of my own survival story.
From the bottom of my heart… thank you.
Your support has meant so much more than buying a blanket.
It has given me purpose, hope, and the time and space to heal while continuing to do something I truly love.

People often ask how Woven With Heart began.

The truth is, it started during one of the hardest seasons of my life.

After a difficult breakup, I picked up a skein of yarn and learned how to finger crochet. What began as a distraction became a creative outlet that helped quiet the noise and reconnect me with myself.

As the blankets grew, so did I.

Markets became a way to step back into the world, push through isolation, and reconnect with people. Some of my favourite moments have never been about sales—they’ve been the little glimmers:

A child running up to hug a plushie.

Someone stopping to admire the craftsmanship.

A conversation with a stranger who simply needed connection that day.

Then, during my mom’s final season here on Earth, I made her a deer plushie and a Christmas blanket so she could feel comforted, cozy, and deeply loved.

In the months that followed, those same handmade pieces became a source of comfort for me.

That experience deepened everything I already believed:

Handmade pieces can hold memory.

They can carry love.

They can become companions through life’s hardest and most beautiful seasons.

Today, every piece I create is made with that same intention.

Not just to keep someone warm.

But to help them feel held.
