Install week has officially begun at our Rideau Lakes project. Equal parts beautiful and complete chaos, as all good install days tend to be.

Two sisters, two very different personalities, one beautiful vision.

Brought to life so thoughtfully by our wonderful clients who are now in the middle of building what might just be the best pool house in all of Cumberland (if you ask me). Designed by yours truly, and I can’t wait to share more from this next phase of our Cumberland project.

Throwing it back to this beautiful Westmount remodel from a few years ago. I always love revisiting past projects and seeing how well they still hold up over time. There’s something about timeless details and layered materials that never gets old.

We are one week away from installing our Rideau Lakes Project, just in time for a spring shoot, and I couldn’t be more excited to finally share what has mostly only existed in sketches, samples, and blurry iphone videos.

Of all the parts of this job, installs will always be my favourite. Seeing everything finally click into place (often better than even I imagined it would) after years of planning each and every detail, and getting to welcome incredible clients into their new home. It never gets old.

In the meantime, here’s our Lakeside Project guest room.

Milan Design Week Recap, Kelly Wearstler x H&M Home

It’s taken me a minute to share more from Milan. I came home from 10 days in Italy straight back into the rhythm of running a small business. Site visits, emails, installs, laundry, content, missed sleep…

I think when you’re building something of your own, it’s easy to get so caught up in keeping everything moving that you forget how important it is to stay inspired too. Milan felt like a reminder of that for me.

Very grateful for experiences like this, and even more grateful for the people I got to share them with. Being surrounded by creatives, entrepreneurs, dreamers, and doers always leaves me feeling inspired and excited to bring that energy back into the work we’re creating here.
