Bluejay is a new colourway that was introduced at the Almonte Fibre Fest in September and it sold out! 🥰

I am headed to the this weekend and although I have had pretty much no time to dye due to work...I did manage to dye up 6 sock yarn skeins of Bluejay last night to bring next weekend!

My plan is to have Bluejay available on my website later this month...I just havent been around much to update the site!

Where are the folks who love BFL? 🐑

The is almost here and I am getting to the end of my newly dyed product photos 🥰 including a number of special, limited yarn bases.

These sets are on a BFL sock yarn 75% superwash BFL wool 25% nylon 4-ply. Each set is 10 x 20g minis, so 200g or 2 full skeins worth of sock yarn. Enough yarn to create all sorts of accessories and even some garments!

I only have one of each. 😬🥰

I am posting from away, so I am not home to check names 😅, but I know all save one!

Bluejay! The question was, can I repeat it? And the answer is yes!

I didn't have any fi*****ng weight sock yarn to experiment with so I experimented with three other bases....in order of photos:

1) All of them :)
2) DK sock 75% sw merino 35% nylon
3) Single ply fi*****ng 100% sw merino
4) 2-ply fi*****ng weight 100% fine sw merino - has a lovely sheen!!

So for those interested, I'll have all these and my original sock yarn skeins at the Almonte Fibrefest next weekend!

After that, it will be an available repeatable colourway 🥰🥰

Maple Spruce has been a regular colourway for quite some time! Each batch captures autumn a little differently with it's own mood, sometimes more fiery, sometimes more earthy.

I would say this most recent batch leans a bit more fiery. While the blues and the Browns are dark and rich, they are shadowed by the reds, oranges and yellows which pop!!

It's created in sections and the stitches change every 8 to 10 rows or so it keeps you interested! I found it to be a great travel project!
