Its nice to be settled.....againšŸ˜Š
Since moving to Oxford Nova Scotia April 2022 I have moved twice, yes 2 times in 9 months! For those of you who know me, I am a huge advocate of "less is best" right! Well the first house I rented was a sweet tiny home, something I always thought I wanted to live in. This sweet 400 sq ft with a living room/kitchen/dinning room, separate bedroom and of course a bathroom was, for me, a challenge. Even though I moved with what I thought were necessities, they would not all fit into this house. so...grudgingly the purge begins! Once I let go of some clothing, dishes, furniture and other misc. items, it was time to get to work on some much needed painting, storage and some repairs.
Here's an honest peek into to the process from beginning to end.

Hi Folks
I know Iā€™m not telling you anything you donā€™t already know when I say itā€™s been another crazy year! For me, itā€™s been a change of 2 cities, 2 homes and 3 jobsā€¦yikes even for me thatā€™s allot. This last job though was completely out of my element, a meat plant (plants donā€™t have anything to do with it). All my jobs have been in the helping, caretaking, and cleaning fields so this was a game changer for me. I wonā€™t get into the reason I accepted this job because like I said, I like to keep it clean. I have been a Pescatarian (only meat being fish and seafood) for 40 + years so this challenged my mind set, especially since I co-parented 3 lovely hens who have free range of the yard, trees, shed, lawn furniture, all theirs. For 3 long excruciating weeks my job was to ā€œTray beef and chickenā€. Given all of this and the fact that I canā€™t help myself but to clean and organize everything in siteā€¦yup you guessed it, Iā€™m the one holding up the assembly line arranging the little legs and breasts to meet my creative satisfaction. Everyone was very kind as they grabbed the trays from me and sent them on down the line to be wrapped, priced and crated.
Time to take charge! I am starting a job which will not only offer freedom at days end to do what I love but Iā€™ll also have peace of mind. At least thatā€™s my goal!
