A little fractal fun with some solid colour New Zealand wool batts. Spun long draw with two plies. First ply was each color broken up into 5 and keeping the same order. Second ply was each colour end to end. About 200g of sport weight. Excited that my long draw spinning is finally getting a little more consistent.

Experimenting with a true woolen spin: I blended rolags from solid color batts and now spinning long draw. Pic of my new obsession and a wee update. I haven’t posted in ages because I decided I couldn’t make it work to be a pattern designer and still be in wildfire at the same time. But I’m keeping this IG account alive because it’s fun to pop over into the fiber universe and see all the beautiful things you all are making. And maybe I’ll share some pics of spins and knits while I’m at it, just purely for fun. This is a Falkland Wool from in the colorway Buttons. I love it!
