We’re happy to carry Moodgie, a Canadian brand handcrafted in Québec, with beautiful home fragrances made to bring warmth to your space. From soy candles in two sizes to reed diffusers, room sprays and natural incense, there are plenty of ways to make your home feel a little cozier, whether you’re having friends over or enjoying a quiet evening in.

Thoughtful finds for the table, the kitchen, and the people who make gathering around it special. 🤍

From delicious seasonings and chive blossom vinegar made in Pemberton Meadows, BC, to tea towels designed by Emily Carr University students in Vancouver, there are so many lovely finds to bring home or gift to someone special.

We’re also featuring a few of our favourite cookbooks, including 100 Morning Treats, A New Way to Bake, Gather, Savour, Share, and Plenty. And there are plenty more to discover in store!

THE LAST OF SUMMER 🌿

There’s something pretty special about having a picnic when the evenings are still warm and the mountains are glowing.

Sweda, owner of FRONT + BIRCH, and her daughter Luvina took the Fern & Frond blanket out for a little picnic dinner, paired with beautiful outdoor dinnerware, w**e glasses, and a wooden serving tray.

A LITTLE SLOWING DOWN 🌿

Back to school is here, the days are getting a little shorter, and it’s the perfect time to make home feel extra cozy.

We’re loving the earthy scents from Hollow Tree, from the warm glow of their candles to the Voyageur room spray and essential oils. To***co, apple, black pepper — woodsy, warm, and just a little nostalgic. Think apple pie by the fire, crisp evenings, and coming home after a long day outside.

Sweetcorn is making the most of it with a daily dip, Hydrangea has a new business idea every other day, Watering Can is keeping the garden looking its best, and Bartholomew Bear is bringing a little sunshine into the changing season. 🌼

New semester, new essentials. We’ve got a few things to make those early mornings, long days, and packed schedules a little more fun.

Our adorable 16 oz water bottles have removable collectible character tops and keep your drinks cold for up to 24 hours. Plus, they’re free from lead, PFAS, BPA & phthalates, so you can sip away all day.

As summer comes to an end, we’re saying goodbye to two of our lovely staff — Carla, who’s heading off to university, and Isa, who’s heading back home to Chile. We’re going to miss having them around the shop!

So, we’re looking for someone new to join the Front + Birch team 🤍

We’d especially love to hear from a recent graduate who’s energetic, outgoing, and ready to bring some fresh energy to the shop. If you love fashion, home, people, and all things Pemberton, you might be just who we’re looking for.

A little team change at the shop 🌿

Our lovely Isa is heading home to Chile, and sweet Carla is off to University, so we’re looking for someone new to join the Front + Birch team in Pemberton, BC.

We are hiring a part-time or full-time Sales Associate, with the opportunity for an Assistant Manager position for the right person.

$18.25–$25/hour
— depending on experience + position

We’re looking for someone who:
— loves beautiful things and has an eye for detail
— is warm, personable and genuinely enjoys people
— is confident on the sales floor and comfortable in a busy shop
— is reliable, organized and takes initiative
— has retail experience or simply knows good service

You’ll be part of the everyday rhythm of a small, independent shop — helping customers find something special, keeping the store looking beautiful, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
