Today was my last market day of the summer, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a blueberry cheesecake ice cream from McGuire Chocolate 🫐🍦

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, supported local art, and helped make this market season such a successful one. I’m so grateful! 💙

Everyone knows I love a good ocean scene 🌊

…but this time, I used a colour palette I don’t usually gravitate toward!

For this painting, I aimed to create something softer and lighter — more sunrise-esque, with those gentle, dreamy tones instead of the richer colours I tend to use for sunsets. 🩷

This painting was inspired by a photograph taken by my client during her travels to Nunavut, Canada! ❄️🇨🇦

Pond Inlet is a small community (population : 1600 🤯) on the northern coast of Baffin Island, known for its breathtaking Arctic mountains, dramatic landscapes, and floating icebergs.

I loved bringing a little piece of her journey to life on canvas. 🎨
