My name is Crysti-Leta, the 33 year old owner and creator of Epiphany Knitwear. I first learned to knit when I was about 10 years old and have been passionate about it ever since. My designs today showcase that passion along with a lot of my thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. A design is never as simple as a sweater or hat -which is where the name Epiphany comes from. I see a lot of novice
knitters as well as people who want to get into knitting, but haven't taken the plunge yet, look at a project they have fallen in love with and say "that is way beyond my skill level" or "I'll never be able to get there or knit something like that". I opened my Etsy shop because I love this art, and my hope is that I can inspire others to learn how to do this wonderful thing that I do. To make something you love, and know that you absolutely can do it! Although many of my designs look advanced, the actual patterns themselves have been written in a very easy and simple format -so that any level of knitter can re-create my designs and feel as much love and inspiration as I do when I create them. Each and every one of my knitting patterns flows from my life's experiences, it fuels their creation, design, and feeling. Their textures and colors are stories. Stories of love, loss, passion, desire, pain, pleasure and memory; something from my life that has moved me so deeply that I have been inspired to share it with you.
