Today is my Mother's 87th Birthday. .... very grateful she is still alive living at home with constant care from Bayshore HealthCare Ltd. .... up to three visit a day.

The home support these girls do is quite amazing, and they put their heart and soul in to looking after her. Some have been with my Mother now for 6-1/2 years. We've gotten to know them all on a personal level, and blessed to have them.

Thank you Pam, Taylor, Becky, Ashley, Tanya, Samantha, Priscilla and Jackie and the many others.

Today is the 9th Anniversary of Eli's passing, seems so long now, unbelievable we're still forging on.

Also today is the 98th Anniversary of David & Rebecca Hoffman's arrival to Perth Ontario

In 1921 David was in business with his Brother in Law Max Cohen (married Martha Hoffman) in Metcalfe Ontario.

In early 1928, Max & David decided to sell the property, Max moved his butcher business to the ByWard Market in City of Ottawa. .... Max's five boys started up the business Cohen & Cohen Wrecking on Merivale Rd. .... still running to this day, different location.

David & Rebecca (Karakowski) moved to Perth May 28 1928 and joined his Father in Law Meyer Karakowski at 131 Gore St. E.

In 1942 Meyer retired to Montreal and his Nephew Benny took over,..... that business evolved into Benny K's

David Hoffman bought the property at 147 Gore St. E. and moved his flooring, paint and dry goods business over there..... and the Antique Market is running from that location to this day.

My Mother Sandra and myself are now living in Perth for 50 years,..... proud Perthites, don't want to live anywhere else.

The Weather Network says it's gonna be an awesome weekend, looking forward to all the travelers and cottagers arriving back for another season. So far nothing but tourists passing through today.

The Sam Group Ltd. got all the shirts printed up in time for the long weekend, and they are looking fantastic. Thank you Robert, been printing shirts with them for 26 years now.

Slowly getting things set up in the courtyard.

We also have a mini booth available to rent, located in the main warehouse.

Their dedication goes all the way back to 2008 when Greg & Janet arrived, they had a small narrow booth (5x10) on the 2nd floor in between BT's toy tractor booth and TV movie related booth.

Decided to go with this new design based on the 1987 Death (Official) Studio LP "Scream Bloody Gore",.... the foundational pillar of all death metal.
