Two beauties from our latest collection 🖤

An antique French petit chevet — a small bedside cabinet, scaled for a narrow space beside a bed or a compact room. French chevets of this size were made for provincial homes where every piece had to earn its footprint, and those tight proportions are exactly what make them so useful now. It works equally well as a side table, a plant stand, or a landing spot beside a chair.

Paysage aux Nuances de Bleu — landscape in shades of blue — an oil on board dated 1917 on the reverse. Early 20th century French landscape painting of this kind was often the work of accomplished regional artists working well outside the Paris circuit, and the dating on the back places it firmly in the period. A century-old painting with a quiet presence that suits a bedroom or a hallway.
