Here’s how to determine the best lighting for your space:

Consider Color Temperature, aarm white lights (2700K-3000K) create a cozy, inviting atmosphere, ideal for dining areas. Cool white lights (3500K-4100K) enhance focus and clarity, making them perfect for task-oriented zones.

Smaller kitchens benefit from brighter, cooler lights to make them appear larger, while larger kitchens can handle the cozy feel of warmer lights. Mix and match different lighting types—pendants, under-cabinet lights, and recessed lighting—to create layers and balance in your kitchen.

Lastly, use sample light bulbs or adjustable fixtures to test different shades of light in your kitchen at various times of day.
