Founded in 2016 in Listuguj, Quebec by a Mi'qmaq mother of three who wanted to offer quality products for great value, Welteg strives to offer fair prices and excellent customer service.

Sometimes the support for our work is a little overwhelming, and we’re so grateful ❤️

After multiple requests, we’ve decided to open orders for our custom dancer/singer garments for the holiday season.

Thus far we’ve gifted all the ones we’ve made, so bear with us as we work out pricing and the best way to do it on a larger scale and through our website.

We hear you though and should be good for Christmas delivery 🙂

Our orders for Every Child Matters t-shirts have opened 🧡

Designed and printed in Listuguj on high quality classic fit t-shirts, with art by Mi'kmaq artist Franklin Alan Brisk. Available in English, French, or Mi’kmaq (NS spelling available as well).

All proceeds from the sales of our orange t-shirts directly back to the community. This year we plan to fund dance and regalia making classes and will open applications for additional commitments in November if budgets permit with a focus on youth and language revitalization.

Welteg will be sponsoring a memorial special in honour of my mom and step-father again this year ❤️

They were together for 20 years and were killed by a texting driving on highway 11 in 2010 when they were on their way home from celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary…. They taught us a lot about lasting love ❤️ Please don’t text and drive, 14 years later my siblings and I and all who loved them, still grieve their loss.

Winners will be chosen by the adult head dancers, and we ask that you have some sort of traditional clothing/regalia. Open to all pairs, not just couples/sweethearts.
