One layer cards are great for mailing without the extra bulk! Today is the where we will showcase a card using the optional technique for an impactful one layer card. Some of us love creating one layer cards, and others wanted to take on the challenge and participate. If you would like to join message or and please share some crafty love as you hop through the list!

Today we will be using watercolors on our cards! Watercolors can add dimension, shimmer, fill the background or colour a few elements. Hop along to see the different ways we watercolored!

Some of us love creating one layer cards, and others wanted to take on the challenge and participate. Today we will be using masking on our cards. This is a perfect way to add backgrounds without adding dimension or creating white space on an ink blended card!

I used masking stencils to create this one layer card - used products from Concord and 9th. I then used a bit of crayon to create some highlights and create some depth.

I made a flower card today - I haven’t touched my Altenew flower stamps in a long time and this hop seemed like the perfect occasion to crack one out! I used the “Wispy Joy” layering stamp set to made this adorable birthday card. Embossing folder is also Altenew. Thanks for stopping by!
