The beginning of a idea coming to life. Dont be fooled by thinking im able to transfer these ideas quickly. I burn through staedtler erasers like crazy. 😜

It’s time to put a face to the art.
While I usually let the work speak for itself, I’m stepping out from behind the colours to say hello. Behind every painting is a lot of hours, messy hands, and a genuine passion for what I create, so I figured it was time to share a bit more of the person making it all happen.
Moving forward, I’ll be sharing more behind the scenes moments, what gets me inspired, updates, glimpses into my processes and the finished pieces.
Thank you all for following along and supporting the journey so far. More updates coming soon!

There is an invisible thread that ties the entire Pacific Northwest coast together, an ancient conversation between the old growth canopy, the rivers, and the creatures that walk among them. This piece is an exploration of that exact magic, where the boundary between the physical world and the spiritual ecosystem completely dissolves. The bear isn’t just moving through the forest, it is carrying the life force of the river with it.

A pulse runs through the old growth forest. The salmon feed the forest, the forest shelters the wolf, and the cycle continues, electric and unbroken.
I wanted to paint the energy that you can feel but can’t always see when you walk among ancient trees. By framing this vibrant, bioluminescent dreamscape within the raw grain of the wood, it’s a reminder that the wild isn’t just passive scenery, it’s alive, and pulsing with its own interconnected heartbeat.

While this piece along with my last two paintings was a great experiment in mapping out ideas, its real purpose was serving as a testing ground. I used these recent works to iron out a strict new color theory guideline, dialing in the exact balance between those fiery gradient skies and electric, glowing blues.
Now that the groundwork is officially laid and the palette rules are locked in, the training wheels are off.
I am incredibly excited for the next series of paintings coming down the pipeline. Now that I’ve dialed the dos and donts, the upcoming pieces are going to be much bolder, more refined, and pushed to a whole new level. The foundation is set, and what’s coming next is going to completely blow this out of the water.
Stay tuned, the good stuff is coming šŸš€šŸ”„

Running with the momentum of stepping back and focusing on intentional pieces. I wanted this one to capture that quiet, electric transition from twilight to night in the Pacific Northwest, where the lines between the natural world and something a bit more surreal start to blur together.
