Do you trim your candle wick? There is only one correct answer 😉

I try to preach the importance of trimming the wick every chance I get!

If you’ve been to my booth at a market or event, you’ve probably seen my cute little sign that says “don’t be a prick, trim your wick”.

If you don’t trim the wick before every single burn, your candle jar will end up looking like this. It will also burn too hot, causing your candle to burn much faster and negatively effecting the scent throw.

Our candles are made with soy, which is “clean-burning”, but you will develop soot if the wick is not trimmed properly!
