Throwback Thursday!

This sweet little card was created with a few special colleagues in mind as we get ready for back to school. I’m so grateful for the amazing team I get to work with every day, and I thought this little bird perched on a stack of books was the perfect way to send a little appreciation. 💕

I pulled out a few retired favourites — Bird’s Eye View, a sentiment from Wild Bunch and Pearlized Faceted Circles — and paired them with current Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP and the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder.

I love how easily old and new products can work together!

A little harvest inspiration for this week’s challenge! 🎃🌿

With most of my stamps still packed up for our renovation, I had to get creative! I grabbed my August Product of the Month — Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP, fussy cut a few pumpkins and paired them with the simple Addressed to You stamp set.

And yes… I loved last week’s GDP sketch so much that I used it again! 😉

That gorgeous shimmer in the DSP really does all the work on this card. ✨

There’s something special about this time of year… ❤️🍎

My Grade 2/3 classroom is all set up and ready for the students to arrive next week! It’s always an exciting time as I get ready to welcome a new group of learners and fill the room with all the energy, laughter and learning that comes with a new school year.

Of course, September also means a little less stamping time for me while I settle back into school routines. ✂️ But I’ll still be sneaking in some stamping whenever I can! 😉

For now, I’m enjoying these last few quiet moments and looking forward to the year ahead. ❤️📚

I love how this card looks when it’s closed, but the real fun happens when you open it and see the whole scene come together! It’s a fun fold that looks more complicated than it actually is—and I’ll be sharing the measurements and instructions so you can recreate it yourself.

A little shimmer can make a simple card feel extra special. ✨
