Spent the day in my garden and I'm so happy. 🤗

Trying to get some clover to take root in the back, with future plans to add a flagstone pathway between the fruit trees, the veggie patch and our composter.

Sowed some wildflower seeds, alyssum, nasturtium and black-eyed Susans. Tomatoes 🍅, hot peppers 🌶️, basil, marigolds, peas 🫛, micro greens and pechay.... salvia, lavender and rosemary as well. Phew! 😮‍💨🫶

Although I do sometimes rent decor items to supplement a space, I prefer (and love!) staging photoshoots with my clients' own belongings. The final images always feel more genuine and complete. 🫶❤️🏡

Mood boards are one of the most powerful tools designers use, not only to share ideas and concepts with clients, but to ensure that the vision for the design is communicated properly to everyone involved and that no selection is misunderstood.

It also gives clients something to reference back to, and look forward to, especially in the inevitable chaos of renovation and redesign. Even when your home feels like little more than a pile of drywall dust, the mood board is an anchor to remind you that, YES! Your home is going to look gorgeous and it will all be worth it! 😍 🏡

It feels cheeky to post about an office space on a Friday, but when the space is this cute... why wouldn't I?! 😇

This office/crafting room was inspired by blue jeans and a white t-shirt: classic, casual and relaxed. There's tons of storage and plenty of space to spread out a project, whether it's bookkeeping (yuck) or scrapbooking (yay!).

It was an honour to give these clients the office of their dreams! 🤍💙
