Atelier on john was the recipent of Hospitality and Tourism 2023 by the Chamber of Commerce and a winner for Home Decor by the Canadian Choice Awards 2025 & 2026. With 65 years of combined experience, Tim and Dean bring back to John Street a new venture that will showcase antiques, vintage, and contemporary statement pieces of home décor. Already well-known designers, Tim and Dean return to serve

the clients they love and the new customers they will welcome.

The word Atelier means “workroom or studio for a designer or artist.” We could not think of a better or more appropriate way to describe the hand-crafted window coverings and redesigned furniture we will have available. We will be happy to spend time with you during a booked consultation helping you choose fabrics, wallpapers and furniture. You will be amazed by all the options available from Kravet, Kravet Couture, Clarke and Clarke, Thibaut, Fabricut plus many others. Atelier on John has retail space, a design studio and a workroom for custom draperies, roman blinds, headboards and upholstery. Our restyled vintage furniture will be embellished on site.
