Two Years at Floor Coverings International®: Our Journey 💫
Juan and I often reflect on our journey since opening our Floor Coverings International® franchise. It's hard to believe it's been two years; sometimes, it feels like a lifetime of experiences packed into a short span.
When we first started, we felt a lot like Bambi while he was starting to walk—our legs were shaky, our language skills were limited, and the challenges ahead were daunting. Though we both had entrepreneurial backgrounds in Mexico, this was our first venture into the Canadian market. We had to learn a lot fast, especially about understanding the unique needs of our new market and finding the right mix of floor products for our clients. Despite our extensive training and product knowledge, real-world experience was the missing piece.
We still remember our first event: The Meow Fest in Vancouver. Participants were more interested in feline-related matters than in flooring! It was an eye-opening experience and a humble reminder that we had a long road ahead of us.
In these two years, we've grown in more ways than one. We've refined our product offers, improved our processes, and continued to learn and adapt. The support from our community and clients has been paramount in this journey, helping us navigate challenges and celebrate successes. ❤️
We're grateful for the opportunities we've had and excited for what the future holds. We're still on the path of growth, continuously striving to offer the best to our clients and community. Here's to many more years of learning and growing together. 🥂
