It’s always exciting to get started on a new piece. I’ve recently started cutting out this big commission and look forward to sharing more as it takes shape!

Have you read Lotus yet?

My science fiction novel explores some big ideas about consciousness, artificial intelligence, and what it means to be human.

If you’ve read it, I’d love to hear what you thought. And please remember that leaving a review on Amazon or Goodreads is a wonderful way to help other readers discover it.

📚 What book are you reading at the moment? I’m always curious to hear what others are enjoying.

The ‘Goat Boat’ is all sanded, primed and ready to paint! I love when I get to this stage in my process.

Happy Thanksgiving weekend from Loki and family!

More detailed sanding. This piece is coming along.

Here’s one I did a while back. I remember cursing myself for putting in so much detail when I was doing the sanding, but I love how it turned out. It’s called “Home on the Habitant” and is my creative representation of the view from the top of our property.

I’ll be at the Halifax Central Library today until 3pm for Booktober fest. If you’re in the area, come say hi!
