Hasn’t it been a lovely fall weather week?! Perfect October days and a great time to purchase some wonderful antique furniture from a century home whose owners are downsizing and moving! This c 1860 2 drawer over 2 door pantry cupboard with its original finish is lovely- just the way you want to find them-large original wooden k***s, lots of storage, pretty gallery in the back and cutout on the sides- great size too! And doesn’t this nesting set of 6 yellow ware bowls look perfect on it ! American General pottery, not old but oh so nice!! And this c1850 pine chest of drawers is in the best condition! Deep warm aged color, original k***s, all drawers work smoothly.and look at this large glazed top cupboard!! What a great kitchen or dining room piece- lots of storage, love the configuration ! Lovely condition and ready to find a new home . And here’s a smaller jam cupboard- old refinish pine, great small size so could go anywhere!and here’s a unique stand with lower shelf - could go anywhere! And lastly tonight I love this antique pine sideboard cupboard- original finish, nice narrow depth but still lots of storage- so useful !lots of other items fresh into the shop so drop in over the weekend- open Sat 11-4, closing a little earlier Sunday to host thanksgiving dinner!

As you can see it’s been a very busy week for The Old Meeting House Antiques!So much fresh stock- I’ll try to keep things short lol
First item is this antique pine dresser/ sideboard/ desk/ vanity -you name it!! Lots of storage , dovetailed drawers, so useful!and next is this so cool pine “Butterfly”table-fabulous big turned legs , the main table is 4’ but each end has an extension that fits neatly into dowels and slides underneath when not in use- you really have to see it to appreciate it! The table complete is 7’ long!!pair of wonderful antique heavy metal 2 piece chocolate molds of roosters! ( love these)
And my favorite things- pair of c1860 Nova Scotia batter ware jugs/pitchers- these are rare, the larger one is in mint condition,hairline in the other with darker glaze.and just in this lidded 1 gallon Medalta pottery saltglaze crock in great condition,a rare wooden butter churn- Bell, Halifax with a cow stencil!and isn’t this tin pantry cupboard so cute? It’s a pie saver, with vents inside to
let air escape- great spice cubbie too!and a nice vintage firkin ,a cute white with blue stripe cream and sugar, a large wooden cookie mold ,a set of 4 vintage Bass River pressback chairs and finally tonight but not the least! Wonderful squarenailed 19thc wall box in original paint- lots more not included in the post so drop in over the weekend-open Sat & Sun 11-4
