One last Saturday at the Prescott Farmers’ & Crafters’ Market.
Join us this Saturday, October 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the final market of our regular season, with a morning that will also celebrate someone who meant a great deal to this market and the people who make it special.
At 11 a.m., we’ll formally unveil the Memorial Bench for Rosemarie Geraghty. Rosie was a baker and longtime Market vendor through Rosies Eats and Tasty Treats, and the Market was a place she truly loved. She was part of the community that gave Saturdays on the waterfront their character, sharing her baking, her time and plenty of conversations along the way.
A Market for Rosie is a chance to remember her, but just as importantly, to celebrate that connection and enjoy the place she loved.
Come down, shop your favourite vendors, share a memory and help us close out another market season together.
Wade Barras will keep the afternoon going with live music at the site from 12 to 3 p.m.
