Golden Thread Kreations was born from a daughter’s love and a mother’s healing journey.

After years apart and the loss of my father, my mother came to live with me. Carrying grief, she returned to the skills she learned from her own mother — sewing, threading, weaving, and beadwork. These are traditions rooted in our South Asian upbringing, where such crafts were lovingly passed down through generations at home.

These handmade scarves are some of the first pieces she created after coming here. Each thread carries her strength, her memories, and her quiet resilience.

This space is not just a business — it is a journey of healing, purpose, and rebuilding confidence in her 60s.

Some pieces you will see here are handmade by her, and some are carefully curated — but everything shared comes from a place of care, respect, and intention.

I deeply respect all cultures and traditions, and I honour authentic craftsmanship in every form.
