*STOLEN ARTWORK*

Hi everyone — I’m sharing this with a pretty heavy heart.

I’m a local artist and I currently have my work displayed in the loft at The Open Door Cafe. Today I found out that FOUR of my original paintings were taken off the wall and stolen.

I really want to believe people are mostly good and that this is somehow a misunderstanding… but unfortunately it doesn’t seem that way.

The craziest part? My friend happened to be upstairs having coffee when a man took my paintings down. She approached him and told him she was a friend of mine. He gave her his number and said he loved my work and wanted to order more pieces.

Except… he left without paying.
And the number he gave her isn’t in service.

If I wasn’t still in shock, I’d probably be crying. Those weren’t prints — they were my original pieces. Hours of love, care, and creativity went into each one. I went from thinking I had sold four paintings today to realizing they were stolen. My heart is honestly broken.

Thankfully, The Open Door Cafe has security cameras and the footage is pretty clear.

If anyone recognizes this person or has any information at all, please message me. I just want my artwork back.
