Spider vs Bee. 🕷️🐝
At first I thought the bee was having a nap but when I looked closer, I noticed the spider. The spider had won the battle.

The spider is a goldenrod crab spider. Apparently they are really good at camouflage and can actually change colour!

How cute is this?

Flower-shaped garden paths from old painted wood pieces and a few round stepping stones in the center. The bright colors turned a plain mulch walkway into something cheerful and playful, and it also helps keep shoes clean after watering the garden.

🌱 The Gardens are open Thursdays to Sundays from 11 am to 4:30 pm with viewing until 5 pm

🫖 The Camellia Tea Room is open Thursdays to Sundays from 12 to 2:45pm with dining until 3 pm. No reservations required.

🎟️ Admission is $10/Adult, $6/Youth, and free for children aged 12 and under, Milner Members, VIU students and Alumni.

🚶‍♂️ Walking tours take place at 1 pm at the Welcome Centre every Thursday and Friday, included with garden admission.
