Canopy, the newest design by Louise Robert !
The canopy is the highest part of the forest, the green roof formed by the crowns of the trees, a vaulted dome of soft, dappled light where colours weave together and hang suspended between earth and sky, and it is exactly there that this sweater was born.
Just like the canopy itself, Canopy is built from the top down, the circular yoke coming first like the crown of a tree before it widens and spills outward in concentric rings, knit in the round with short rows shaping the back of the neck for a fit that sits just right. 🍃
Its five colours, Kiwi, Pistachio, Lavender, Blue Cherry and Winter Pine, move through the piece like the many species that make up that green canopy, from the tender greens of early spring all the way down to the deep, shadowed dark of winter pine.

La canopée, c’est la partie la plus haute de la forêt, ce toit vert formé par la cime des arbres, un dôme voûté de lumière douce et tachetée où les couleurs s’entrelacent et demeurent suspendues entre ciel et terre, et c’est précisément là qu’est né ce pull.
À l’image de la canopée, Canopy se tricote de haut en bas, le yoke circulaire venant en premier, comme la couronne d’un arbre, avant de s’élargir et de s’écouler en cercles concentriques, le tout tricoté en rond avec des rangs raccourcis à l’arrière du cou pour un ajustement parfait. 🍃
