Just waiting on a bit of electrical to wrap up this incredibly cool custom coffee bar for a client then we’ll tackle their new fireplace (which is equally cool!) 😊👍🏻

Finally taking a moment to post some pictures of the Lakehouse Reno we recently wrapped in Sylvan Lake! This project has been a whirlwind of activity with planning & renderings beginning last fall, demo beginning in early January and completion for the first week of June - not a room, wall, ceiling, wire, fixture, bit of plumbing left untouched from top to bottom! We swapped the kitchen & dining spaces , opened up the existing walls between the kitchen, dining & living room improving the sight lines to the lake & allowing unobstructed flow of natural light to maximize the potential of both areas and created both a spectacular & beautifully appointed kitchen & spacious dining area complete with fully functional dining bar ~ opened up a congested landing at the top of the stairwell to improve overall function & flow & optimize the beautiful natural light in the home ~ removed the existing dis-functional master ensuite & closet to create an additional guest bedroom ~ reworked the existing laundry room to install a luxurious lake house guest bathroom & reworked & reframed the master suite to include a spacious walk-in closet, custom millwork headboard wall with lake views & finished the space with custom millwork beams and salvage 120 year old hand-hewn beams for both fireplace mantles to compliment our soothing lakeside vibe! Every inch of this space optimizes what "was" and takes it to the next level with timeless finishes for my clients to enjoy for years to come.

What a transformation it's been and I'm so thankful for such wonderful clients who've been just an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE from beginning to end, I'm so grateful to work in a profession that I enjoy so much and know that I play a small part in improving the way someone lives, functions and enjoys their home.
I definitely can't extend enough appreciation to the excellent & enjoyable group of trades who rose to the challenge of my tightly coordinated project timeline & schedule with never-ending humour, laughter, skill & dedication to their craft.

Love these pics! My client was looking forward to her ”HGTV” moment as we demo’d her lake property! She had so much fun swinging the sledge! 😂👍🏻
