Ladies Of The Loom We love to weave! On our shelves you will find handwoven dish cloths, kitchen towels, rag rugs, scarves and shawls.

We use cottons, tencel, hemp, silk and animal fibers in our weaving. Come on in and see the difference "hand woven" makes.

These are Halvdrall towels...an online weave along I participated in with a weaver from Sweden! It is typically an overshot weave and enjoyable to do.
Technology is a great thing when you can participate and interact with others from far around the world!!!

Good morning! Today while driving to work I was thinking about the things which bring me joy. Of course, there are those things which are imbedded into our life, family, friends and our pets, but even further along, the deeper more personal things which are exclusive to you, I think that hobbies, handcrafts and any of those things which allows that creative you come out to play is high on the list.
When I sit at a Guild meeting and listen to fellow members talk about their weaving, spinning, knitting and the like, I am always touched by the expression of face, the excitement you can see rolling off their essence, it is something tangible and present in the room. This I realise to be something that brings me joy, it is a prelude to spurring on my creative juices, it sparks in me the need to handle fiber, to learn more about the skill I have first identified as a hobby but now see as an extension of my world.
Weaving is a joy in my life and something I humbly offer up for others to see, touch and enjoy. I have rambled on here, but I felt a need to share some thoughts. I hope you have a joyful day!
