The Arts of Mysthaven

The Arts of Mysthaven Alcohol ink paintings and other artistic endeavours. Covid hit and inks filled my spare time. Then it filled my imagination.

first learned about inks in 2019 from a local lady Wanda Knoss, that gave a day's lesson, and I fell in love with the medium. Alcohol ink is not light fast, but my tiles have been sprayed with a UV protectant to stabilize them. Do not place in direct or very bright light. They also have several layers of a clear coating that will allow damp wiping, but they will scratch with rough handling.

my second antique framing with lace and painting. I like the vintage collage look of old lace, the sparkle of rhinestones and crocheted work as a background and support of my alcohol ink painting. Victorian Winter

a painting I did today and the inspiration came from a painting I saw online that I will post in the comments. I think I captured a nice feeling of it. Grandpa's Barn
