Sweet n’ Savoury Jar Co.

⚠️ Important Announcement from Sweet n’ Savoury Jar Co ⚠️

An unfortunate oversight has just been discovered!

If you purchased certain varieties of our cookie mixes from Sweet n’ Savoury Jar Co at the Tara Festival of Crafts this season, there’s a possibility your jar may be missing ½ cup of white sugar.

👉 In the comments, you’ll find a photo of what your jar should look like.
Each jar should have:
1️⃣ A layer of flour on the bottom
2️⃣ A layer of brown sugar
3️⃣ A layer of white sugar on top

Some jars were accidentally packed without that final white sugar layer.

If your jar is missing it, please add ½ cup of white sugar before gifting or let your gift recipient know to add it before baking.

We’re so sorry for this mistake and truly appreciate your understanding and continued support of our small business. 💛

Varieties that may be affected:
🍪 M&M
🍪 Chocolate Chip
🍪 Oatmeal Chocolate Chip
🍪 S’mores
🍪 Cranberry White Chocolate

Very sad news today out of Niagara Falls, Ontario. It’s truly heartbreaking that this poor creature, instinctively social, has been so lonely for the last 12 years. Her isolation and enslavement is now over and she was the last orca in captivity in Canada. Although it’s now too late to save Kiska, Sweet n’ Savoury Jar Co. is still committed to donating 10% of all sales in 2023 to the Whale Sanctuary Project in Nova Scotia. There are still many marine animals held in captivity all around the world, including belugas and dolphins who remain at Marineland. The loneliest whale on earth is now at rest. We are so sorry, Kiska.

The orca Kiska has died of an infection at Marineland. The news is devastating to all of us who have been working for her to go to sanctuary.
