Spend a full day exploring machine embroidery while completing three projects to take home.

🌊 Sea Glass Wall Hanging
Capture the beauty of the coast in this fun machine appliqué class. Perfect for beginners and experienced quilters alike, you’ll learn how to create a dimensional **trapunto effect** while being introduced to the flow of **free-motion quilting**. Finish your project as a quilted wall hanging or frame it as a unique piece of textile art.
🌸 Flower Fabric Collage Wall Hanging
Transform fabric into a beautiful floral wall hanging while learning the art of fabric collage. Monique will guide you through fabric selection, layering, composition, and quilting techniques to create a one-of-a-kind piece you’ll be proud to display.
🧵 Free Motion Quilting
Stop fighting your fabric and start “drawing” with your thread!
Whether you’re quilting on a domestic sewing machine or a longarm, this workshop is designed to help you break through the free-motion barrier. Learn how to balance speed and movement to create smooth, flowing designs such as stippling, loops, and feathers. You’ll also explore machine setup, tension, movement, and techniques for building the muscle memory and confidence needed for successful free-motion quilting.

Spend a relaxing day learning, creating, and connecting with fellow makers while completing **three projects**: a sewing machine tote, a cozy mug rug, and a handy zippered pouch.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to install zippers entirely on your embroidery machine, work confidently with clear vinyl, and build embroidery skills that you’ll be able to apply to future projects.
