Chloe’s Quilting Café is closing later this fall, and our inventory reduction continues!

Thank you to everyone who has visited! There is still a wide selection of quilting fabrics, panels, precuts, thread and notions to browse.

This week, we’re continuing with:

🧵 20% off fabric when you empty a bolt

These discounts are not combined.

Our regular-width quilting fabrics range from $8 to $19.50 per metre, before the discount. With 15% off, that’s $6.80 to $16.58 per metre!

J’ai une nouvelle importante à vous partager.

Après beaucoup de réflexion, j’ai pris la décision de fermer Chloe’s Quilting Café plus t**d cet automne.

**La boutique ne ferme pas tout de suite.** Chloe’s va continuer d’être ouvert pendant que je réduis tranquillement les activités au cours des prochaines semaines.

C’est une décision que j’ai prise avec beaucoup de réflexion et avec confiance. Même si c’est émotif de penser à fermer Chloe’s, j’ai aussi hâte de voir ce que l’avenir me réserve.

Voici ce que vous devez savoir pour le moment :

• La boutique va rester ouverte pendant la transition.
• L’inventaire va être réduit graduellement.
• Les projets personnalisés et les consultations devront être planifiés à l’avance, selon mes disponibilités.
• Les heures d’ouverture, les promotions et les autres nouvelles seront publiées ici sur Facebook.
• Je n’ai pas encore fixé la date finale de fermeture.

Si vous avez déjà pensé à avoir votre propre boutique de courtepointe, cette transition pourrait aussi créer certaines possibilités. Je suis ouverte à en discuter en privé avec les personnes sérieusement intéressées.

Je sais que vous aurez des questions. Je vais partager plus d’information au fur et à mesure que les plans vont se préciser.

Pour l’instant, il reste encore beaucoup de beaux tissus sur les tablettes et encore beaucoup de Chloe’s à profiter. ❤️

I have some important news to share.

After a great deal of thought, I have made the decision to close Chloe’s Quilting Café later this fall.

**We are not closing immediately.** The store will remain open while I gradually wind down the business over the coming weeks.

This is a decision I have made thoughtfully and with confidence. While closing Chloe’s is emotional, I’m also looking forward to what comes next.

Here’s what you need to know for now:

• Chloe’s will continue to be open during the wind-down.
• Inventory will gradually be reduced.
• Custom projects and project consultations will need to be scheduled in advance and will depend on availability.
• Store hours, promotions and other updates will be posted here on Facebook.
• A final closing date has not yet been set.

If you’ve ever thought about owning a quilt shop, this transition may create some opportunities. I’m open to private conversations with anyone seriously interested.

I know there will be questions, and I’ll share more information as plans are finalized.

For now, there is still lots of fabric on the shelves and lots of Chloe’s left to enjoy.

What a busy September it has been at Chloe’s! ❤️

Between a wonderful week of quilting classes and the NB/NS Shop Hop, there has been lots happening around the shop.

I’m taking this week to catch up, take care of our store inventory and get a few things done behind the scenes.

The shop will be closed Wednesday, September 30 through Saturday, October 3.

Our online store will remain open during the week.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for classes, came through our doors during Shop Hop, or simply stopped by to say hello. It’s been a wonderful month!

Entre une belle semaine de cours de courtepointe et le NB/NS Shop Hop, il y a eu beaucoup d’activité au magasin!

Je prends donc cette semaine pour rattraper un peu de travail, faire l’inventaire du magasin et m’occuper de quelques tâches en coulisses.

Le magasin sera fermé du mercredi 30 septembre au samedi 3 octobre.

Notre boutique en ligne demeurera ouverte pendant la semaine.

Un grand merci à toutes les personnes qui ont participé aux cours, qui sont venues nous visiter pendant le Shop Hop ou qui sont simplement passées nous dire bonjour. Quel beau mois!

✨ What a wonderful week at Chloe’s! ✨

Our week of classes with Monique Trudel of Applehill Quilting has come to an end, and what a week it was!

We learned. We experimented. We tried new techniques. We stretched outside our comfort zones. And, of course, we played with a whole lot of fabric! 🧵❤️

From Sea Glass and fabric collage to free-motion quilting, it was wonderful to watch ideas take shape and see everyone grow more confident as the week went along.

A huge thank you to Monique for sharing her knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm with us. Her encouragement, patience and willingness to share what she knows made this a very special week at Chloe’s.

And thank you to everyone who joined us. You brought your curiosity, creativity and sense of fun to the classroom—and that’s what makes days like these so enjoyable.

🧵 A little reminder for this week!

Chloe’s Quilting Café will be closed for regular shopping Wednesday and Thursday while I host — and get to participate in! — Monique Trudel’s quilting workshops.

The classroom will be busy with quilters learning, experimenting and creating, so I’ll be giving the classes my full attention.

✨ WE REOPEN FRIDAY AT 9:30 A.M.! ✨

Regular hours resume Friday, and we’ll also be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thanks for understanding, and I’m looking forward to sharing a little of what we create over the next couple of days!

• Tuesday, September 15 — Sea Glass: 1 seat remaining | $80
• Wednesday, September 16 — Flower Fabric Collage: 2 seats remaining | $110
• Thursday, September 17 — Free Motion Quilting: FULL
• Friday, September 18 — Sea Glass: private group

✨ NEW: Saturday, September 19 — Free Motion Quilting on your domestic sewing machine!

With the demand for free-motion quilting, we’ve added a second class on Saturday, replacing the cancelled machine embroidery class. This is a half-day class, and students are welcome to stay for the full day. Registration $80.

📌 STORE HOURS NEXT WEEK: The store will be closed to shoppers on Wednesday, September 16, and Thursday, September 17, while we host the workshops. Friday and Saturday hours remain unchanged.

June has arrived at Chloe’s Quilting Café 🌿

After a very busy spring filled with quilt shows, travel and events, June will be a quieter month here at the shop. No events are planned this month which means I’ll be spending more time in the store catching up on projects, preparing new ideas, unpacking deliveries and helping customers one-on-one.

Regular Store Hours:
Wednesday to Friday: 9:30am to 4pm
Saturday: 10am to 2pm

Please note:
Chloe’s Quilting Café will be closed June 17–21 for vacation.

Whether you are looking for inspiration, fabrics for a summer project or simply a little creative pause in your week, drop in for a visit. I’d love to see you.

Le mois de juin est arrivé chez Chloe’s Quilting Café 🌿

Après un printemps très occupé rempli d’expositions, de déplacements et d’événements, le mois de juin sera un peu plus calme à la boutique. Aucun événement n’est prévu ce mois-ci, ce qui me permettra de passer davantage de temps en magasin pour rattraper certains projets, préparer de nouvelles idées, recevoir les nouvelles livraisons et accompagner les clientes une à une.
