I LOVE what I do 🩷🧵🪡 I know I say this for almost every project, but truly, THIS one is SO special. Here's the back story: a beautiful friend of mine, Katie, lost her beloved Grandma a while back. It was sad as they were very close. While cleaning and sorting through Grandma's belongings, Katie found a quilt panel that Grandma had started. It was immediately obvious that Grandma was making it for Katie -it was all the things they did together and crafts that Grandma had taught Katie ~ bee keeping, maple syrup making, chickens and egg collecting, tea time and more. Katie brought it to me and asked me if I could finish the quilt for her. What an honor to be asked 🩷
It took a while to get it done (this working for a living cuts into my quilting time lol) but I got to present the finished quilt to Katie today. She loved it and her face told me so. Thank you Katie Foglton for trusting me with something so precious. I hope you love it forever 🪡🩷🧵

I love when I can finally share a project ♥️🧵🪡 I know I always say every one of my creations is special, but this one truly was ♥️ The recipient had no idea she would be gifted with this quilt today. She was so surprised ... and yes, there were tears, but happy tears ♥️ When I found this panel, I knew it would be for my dear friend Laura Miller whose life-verse is Jeremiah 29:11.
