Happy Monday Everyone!
Last week has been a hard and long week for a lot of us trying to figure out these new Ontario lockdowns and switching back over to online learning.
For me, last week was made a little more difficult as the kids and I were placed in isolation and I've been trying to deal with very frustrating postal delays - both for my wood and supply orders and for customers.
It sort of gave me a glimpse into what juggling online learning with 4 little ones and my business would be like. The week ended with me being frustrated and very behind on messages and and my kids overwhelmed and stressed.
After long discussions with my partner this weekend, I have made the difficult decision to step back from I Saw the Signs.
From the date of this post until further notice, I will not be taking anymore orders through my Etsy store or my online store.
If you have an order request sitting in my inbox, on Etsy, on our website, or you have ordered personally through me, your order will still be done. I have managed to secure enough supplies for these orders. Due to isolation though, I will have to move out pickup dates a bit.
In the next couple weeks, we will be posting some non personlized projects. These will be first come first serve, local pick up only. I will also still be dropping stock off at our local vendors and I encourage everyone to keep supporting these small business through these difficult times.
I do appreciate all the support my customers have given me over this last year. I hope you all can understand that as much as I love creating and I love serving my customers, my family and myself need to come first. This isn't goodbye forever, just for now. ❤
