es, fairy tales, and legends have always enchanted Michelle, her favorites being those where feisty and daring heroines like Lucy and Alice run off to have wild adventures. She graduated from the University of Oxford, where she would read in the same gardens that inspired C.S. Lewis and Lewis Carroll’s imaginations, and her whimsical, witty, & joyful {with just a hint of quirky} artwork is still influenced by this idea of magical worlds that mingle with our own. She’s a former librarian (hence, all those salvaged books) and she creates every piece of artwork featured on her handmade wares.

Folks, this has been the most wonderful (and yes, challenging and intricate and time consuming, but still absolutely delightful) undertaking!
Two giant 36”x36” art collages, each one a blend of both boys’ paintings, doodles, notes, and vivid childhood imaginations. Also feeling SUPER grateful to have a dedicated studio space to create the giant mess necessary to make these happen!
Since I’ve been sharing progress pics in my stories, I’ve gotten a number of messages asking if this is something I would do for other families.
Short answer?
For those close enough to drive to the Elkins Park, PA studio to pick up a finished piece? Absolutely yes!
Long answer: I’ve put together a Google form with all the details (https://forms.gle/2Ew3VdMmbKMkCaBJA). I have commission openings from April to September and would truly enjoy creating one of these joyful, magical heirlooms for your family to treasure 🥰

It’s been six months since this handsome blue-eyed fella came home with us 🐶
He’s overcome so many fears in that time, to include stairs, the beeping sound from the microwave, his reflection in the dryer door, and ceiling fans. Looking forward to the next six months of adventures together 🥰

Imagine my surprise when our lovely neighborhood fox paid a visit right after last week’s snow and sat quietly in our yard for a moment…it’s fun seeing your creations come to life 🦊 🐾 🥰
Many, many thanks and so much gratitude for this last year. What a wild one it has been! I couldn’t be more grateful to each of you, and am so happy to start off 2026 as the first full year of as the producers of my art ✨

Everyone, meet Teddy 🐶🐾
He’s a whole big marshmallow full of love, and we are fostering-to-adopt through ❤️
We’ve had him for 5 days and he’s already a part of this family (Thing 2 had exactly 24 hours to come home on liberty starting yesterday, so we’ve had both boys here hanging with him and he’s absolutely 💯 part of our pack).
