Hosting shouldn’t mean stressing over every glass without a coaster.

A solid wood table with a durable matte finish is made for real life, so you can spend less time worrying about every little mark and more time enjoying your guests. For everyday cleanup, a soft, damp cloth can often keep things simple.

There’s something special about the table before everyone arrives.

The plates aren’t full yet; the room is still quiet, and somehow you already know the stories are coming.

Thanksgiving is one of those days that reminds us how much can happen around a table: long conversations, second helpings, old stories, new memories, and everyone lingering a little longer than usual.

Wishing you a warm Thanksgiving filled with good food and even better company.

Our team at Abode will be taking some time to celebrate Thanksgiving too, so the showroom will be closed on Thanksgiving Monday. We look forward to welcoming you back after the holiday.

Which setup fits your everyday routine better?

Go with the sofa if:
You like keeping more floor space open for side tables or accent chairs. You want the flexibility to rearrange your living room more easily. You prefer a more structured seat with layered cushioning and support.
Shown: The Aiden in Nutmeg leather, crafted in Calgary with pocket coils and memory foam. And the best part? It’s currently on sale for $1,999.

Go with the sectional if:
You want room to stretch out without adding an ottoman. Your open-concept space could benefit from a defined seating zone. You like a softer, lounge-ready feel with feather-down cushioning.
Shown: The Bella in Cognac top-grain leather with a built-in chaise. Even better, it’s currently 30% off.

Both are on the showroom floor now and built in Calgary with solid Canadian wood frames.

Three pieces on our showroom floor this week, each fitting into a different kind of everyday moment.

The Linea Sofa feels made for the nights when everyone settles in and stays awhile. Upholstered in 100% full leather in Evolution Driftwood, it pairs deep comfort with gel-infused foam seating designed to feel cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Feather-filled accent pillows add an extra layer of softness, and they’re proudly made in Ontario. (This showroom floor model is currently 40% off, with only one left available.)

The Tina Swivel Chair in Ivory is the kind of chair you can picture beside a window with a book in hand. Its curved barrel shape wraps around you, while the smooth swivel lets you turn toward the conversation, the TV, or the afternoon light without leaving your seat.

And the Lotus Occasional Tables by Handstone bring warmth and texture into the room through solid Wormy Ambrosia Maple, softly rounded edges, and reeded pedestal details handcrafted in Ontario.

Come by 819 2nd Ave N, Saskatoon, to sink in, swivel around, feel the wood grain, and see which one fits naturally into your space.
