Like so many before me, I wandered into the wonderful world of fibre quite by accident. After being diagnosed with MS in 2000, my doctor recommended I take up knitting to improve and maintain the fine motor control in my hands and fingers. Knitting led to crochet, where I fell completely and irrevocably in love. In my endless search for incredible and unique yarns to fuel my passion, I discovered

the world of hand dyed, and fell in love yet again. The first time I dyed a skein of yarn was very much like a homecoming. I found a fire and a passion I didn't know I had. In opening my shop, I hope to share that passion, and the joy of color on yarn with you. It is my goal with Kaleidoscope DyeWorks, to offer you top quality, luxurious Canadian wool and fibres, hand dyed in unique and one of a kind colorways. I love doing custom orders, so if you have a desire for something that is yours, and yours alone, let's work together to make it a reality. If you can dream it, I can dye it!
