After careful inspection, we’ve found the difference between these images minimal—only that the top features a quarrel between women, and the bottom, a cat.

We are holding back on our decision to publish A Word Per Page this February, but we thank everyone immensely for the support thus far. Worry not--the book will still come to be, but we want to do it right and true to our values.

Why the delay?

Archaic Press is a passion project, there is no denying it--it's an experiment, a contrast, an anachronism to the production of the 21st century. Large-scale is not our priority: local is. Local, manmade and passed from hand-to-hand with increasingly few steps through the internet. That's an intimacy we'll miss if we were to print through a company as large as Amazon, and a sacrifice, too, of the quality we are so eager to achieve.

Please continue to watch here for updates. We'll be distributing more, smaller products to help fund the printing, binding and publicity of the book. Thank you again for your encouragement and shares.
