So many tiny details went into this custom playmat! I used a combination of machine sewing and hand stitching throughout the entire piece. The larger sections could be sewn by machine, but all of those little details were carefully stitched by hand.
I don’t normally take on playmats because they’re incredibly time-consuming to make, so they won’t be added to my shop regularly. But I absolutely loved creating this special custom order and bringing all the little details to life. I may have spent way too much time on it… but I think those finishing touches make all the difference!
