Change your furnace filter, take your garden hose and wash the fins out on your outdoor unit with light pressure not to bend the fins.

Sebringville Pattie fest Saturday night March 11 I will be giving this fire place up for silent auction. Fireplace retails for $1500, it comes with venting kit. This is why you got to make sure your furnace filter is changed regularly. In this case the customer didn't have one at all. What you're looking at is the furnace secondary heat exchanger totally plugged up. Her AC coil didn't look much better. This caused the furnace to go into high limit.
Before and after pictures. Over 2 hours to clean. Yes I did have the home owner involved in cleaning and gave her the basics of furnace maintenance.
