This wedding was all about colour! R + J asked for bright spring hues: coral, blue, butter yellow, and pink. The main star of the show, though, was the Coral Charm peonies, which opened beautifully next to the Duchess de Nemours peonies (white).

The installation was moved to the sweetheart table for the reception (a trend we LOVE!), and it looked fabulous against the backdrop of fairy lights.

A + W

This absolutely stunning pink and white wedding for A + W was perfection.

Their vision was soft pinks, (or as A called them “nice, calm pink!”) and greens for a classic, elegant theme. We spoke extensively in their consultation about colour, and when they chose black stands and compotes for the table centrepieces, the vision instantly clicked.

I cannot emphasize enough how perfectly everything came together - from peonies and ranunculus, to a last minute addition of Italian pansies from Janis over at Harris Flower farm, every moment of this wedding was beautiful.

Our Thursday Night Flower Cart lineup this week includes ranunculus, peony, snapdragons, eucalyptus, and a DIY bouquet bar!

We’ll also have clearance dahlia tubers for your last minute garden additions.

Just a few flower farm snapshots from this week!

I’m absolutely swooning over this pink and purple stock we grew this year. I fell in love with growing stock last year already, but this spring really cemented its place on the farm.

Thanks to everyone who popped out for Flower Cart Thursday last night! We hope you enjoyed seeing the peonies and snapping photos in the field! The Flower Cart will be back next Thursday with bouquets and eucalyptus!

We also have some exciting dates coming up for workshops and events on the farm this summer - so stay tuned for that. 😉

The Bouquet ➡️ The Inspiration ➡️ The Photo

One thing that we frequently discuss in our consultations is how the real colour of flowers may be different from your photographer’s edits.

We can use the exact stems in the inspiration photos, but your real life bouquet may have much more saturation to it. If that’s not something that our couple wants, we make adjustments to the recipes to make sure the overall colour story of the wedding day is cohesive.

P’s gorgeous bouquet pulled exactly the tones we needed it to for the final edit. 💕
